Garry Roost Actor, Writer, Producer

trained at E15 Acting School and has extensive experience in Television, Theatre, Film. His main grounding was in theatre in his early career including; Theatre Royal Stratford East, The Citizens Theatre Glasgow, Birmingham Rep, West Yorkshire Playhouse and playing 'Ralph' in the highly successful West End run of Bouncers for Hull Truck. Best known for Creepy Guy in Black Books, Alan Daniels in EastEnders, Mickey Doolan Irish Jockey in 'At the Races' sketch with Steve Coogan, The Day Today voted 35th best comedy sketch of all time! Garry’s inaugural solo show project directed by Gareth Armstrong at the Edinburgh Festival 2012 at The Gilded Balloon ignited his second solo venture directed by Paul Garnault, Pope Head (The Secret Life of Francis Bacon). The play has attracted the attention of producers and major festivals globally after a successful Edinburgh Festival 2014. His work has taken him throughout the United Kingdom, Ireland, Europe, the Middle East and a hit east coast tour of Australia of Pope Head taking in The Sydney Mardis Gras 2015. Culminating in conversation with Richard Fidler, ABC Radio, Brisbane. He returned to Edinburgh in 2015 at Summerhall; the largest Art Centre in Europe. Pope Head featured in The Kings Head Festival 45 in November 2015 and enjoyed a successful run at Pentameters Theatre Hampstead in Dec 2015 and April 2016. A series of performances at Vout-O-Reenee's have received a rapturous  reception in May, June, July and November 2016. Warhol Bullet Karma premiered Edinburgh 2018 , and then Adelaide 2019  to critical acclaim and posted a podcast version of Warhol during the global pandemic of 2020. Flowing into 2021 Virtual theatre was a thing and a successful show in April for GSA followed by WAF 2021 online platform. A critically acclaimed Brighton Fringe run at The Rialto Theatre after 18 long months, and finally back on stage! Edinburgh Fringe  2021 and 2022 Fringe Online. Leicester Comedy Festival 2022 most recently LCF 30th Anniversary 2023. 

Brighton Fringe 2023.  Bullet Karma was very well received to critical acclaim at The Rochester Fringe, New York 2023 at The Geva Theatre Center in September to a standing ovation on the last night. A dream New York debut.

Paul Garnault Director - Pope Head 

graduated E.15 Acting School in London and after many years as an actor moved into Directing. As Artistic Director of the Wales Actors' Company he steered the way to create one of the most successful professional national theatre companies in England touring high quality, innovative productions in the UK, Ireland and France. He has directed lauded productions of Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, Dr Faustus by Christopher Marlowe, many musicals. The company has worked with some of the foremost writers in the UK including Ian Rowlands (The Sin Eaters) and Edward Thomas (House Of America)  as well as actors such as Sir Anthony Hopkins (former patron of WAC), and Ian Hughes (of the RSC). Paul will direct Midsummer Nights Dream starting at The Globe then a world tour of USA, Russia and Germany in 2016.

Kenneth Hadley  - Director  -  WARHOL: BULLET KARMA

Ken makes his directorial debut with Warhol. He brings huge experience to the project.

HIs impressive career as an actor in many plays in Rep including Birmingham, Sheffield, York, Cheltenham, Derby as well as national tours of plays such as Lettice and Lovage, Piaf, Hobson's Choice, True West etc.

 

Ken did many of the plays of award-winning playwright and actor Stephen Bill both in theatre and on TV - 'The Old Order' (Birmingham Rep), Over A Barrel (Watford Palace), 'What The Heart Feels' (Richmond), Eh, Brian It's a Whopper (ITV), The Locksmith, Broke (BBC) & many more.

 

Ken has worked extensively across all areas working in both comedy and drama - Film, TV, Theatre, Radio, Television comedy sketch shows, Coronation Street as Chris - Christmas Special 2022.

 

He has done quite a few films including those of Mike Leigh

(Ken features in Peterloo as Mr Golightly), Ben Wheatley and Les Blair to name but three, as well as a lot of work utilising his penchant for improvisation and comedy.
